Destiny 2’s winter holiday event The Dawning ushered in another year of baking food, throwing snowballs and wearing Eververse costumes.

With the tweets and announcement trailers, the dawn event of Destiny 2 is back. This year, Destiny 2’s winter vacation event will last from December 14, 2021 to January 4, 2022, free for all players.

Destiny 2 has several real-world counterparts to celebrations in the real world. The Dawning covers winter events, Festival of the Lost covers Halloween and Day of the Dead, and Crimson Days represents Valentine’s Day, and there are many other in-game events.

This year, Eva offered two new tasks, "Dawn Ritual" and "Dove Offer". After completing these tasks, players will unlock the Vapoorwill Spin exotic ship and Zephyr legendary sword.
