Genshin Impact won the Best Mobile Game Award at The Game Awards in 2021, bringing the year to a successful conclusion. At the awards ceremony, miHoYo announced a game trailer, including playable characters that are about to land in the game. Most notably, at the end of the trailer, fans saw Yun Jin’s new face, and this character is expected to be released in Genshin Impact’s 2.4 update. However, the trailer shown during the 2021 Game Awards is the official video of the first character released by miHoYo.

The Genshin Impact game trailer for The Game Awards in 2021 focuses on Arataki Itto. The character has been confirmed to be released in the second phase of the Genshin Impact 2.3 update and is expected to be released on December 14, shortly after the 2021 Game Awards is broadcast. Although Yoimiya and Kokomi were added to the game as playable characters earlier this year, in the 2.0 and 2.1 updates of Genshin Impact, the remaining characters included in the game trailer have not yet been released. In the second phase of the 2.3 update, after Albedo's "Shadows in the Snowstorm" event ended, Itto and Gorou were confirmed to appear on the same banner. Yun Jin is expected to be released as part of the Genshin Impact 2.4 update, no earlier than January next year. Although the Kokomi flag ended only a few months ago, fans are eagerly looking forward to the replay of Yoimiya's "Golden Flame Tapestry" flag, which will last from August 10 to August 31, 2021.

This seems to be the end of the video, but with only a few seconds left, miHoYo saves the most exciting reveal for the end.

Among all the characters, fans can say that they are most excited about seeing Yoon Jin at the end of Genshin Impact’s latest video, because this is the first time miHoYo has shared a video of her character. Yun Jin's first glance was seen from behind, a figure was dancing, and Liyue appeared behind him. As the music played, the camera slowly approached her face, and she slowly turned to the audience. She never turned around completely, but before the camera turned black again, a close-up shot of her profile appeared. The video was touted online as "Genshin Impact-Yun Jin Gameplay Announcement Trailer"; however, reviewers quickly pointed out that although Yun Jin appeared in the video, the video did not show any of her gameplay. Genshin Impact continues to thrive and build on its success, even benefiting from leaks, in order to stimulate excitement for future updates. The game trailer announced during The Game Awards in 2021 produced the expected effect: the official Yuanshen Influence YouTube channel received more than 1 million views on the first day of upload, and the comment section is full of expectations for the release of Yunjin . Although fans may have to wait until January 2022 to see Yun Jin in the game, Genshin Impact's Arataki Itto and Gorou's Banner will be available to players in a few days. Fans hope that the appearance of Kokomi and Yoimiya in the game trailer may hint that their banner is about to be replayed; however, with the replay of many other characters, this may not become a reality anytime soon.
