Players have discovered that each game in the remake of the GTA trilogy seems to use stock images previously used by multiple news sites.

Players discovered that Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy-the final version. The brand new Busted screen seems to contain a free siren picture. It has been used by several news sites before and once again sparked controversy at Grove Street Games. Before the release, due to the record of Grove Street Games, fans expressed their concerns about the development of the remake series, and the screenshots of the GTA Ultimate Edition were criticized for their unpolished appearance before the game was released. Grove Street Games is mainly known for releasing Rockstar ports, including the seventh-generation console version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Developer Rockstar Games and publisher Take-Two announced the long-rumored GTA remake trilogy in October, promising to provide groundbreaking PS2 classic games for modern systems-Grand Theft Auto III, Vice City and San Andreas Revision of Les. The remastered trilogy is said to have graphic enhancements, various general improvements, and modern controls similar to Grand Theft Auto V. Although the information in its first full trailer is still scarce, the pre-release gameplay leaked online caused an overwhelmingly negative early impression. Fans criticized the remake as a refurbished version of the previous mobile port, which was later confirmed by a hacker. With this in mind, he discovered hidden touchscreen controls in the code shortly after the release of the GTA trilogy.

The controversy about Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy-Definitive Edition continues as a player discovered that the Grove Street game seems to reuse a popular police stock image in the series. User lasextaestrella who shared on Twitter posted an image of the Busted screen used in each title in the remastered series, as well as an image reportedly taken from a website called TrueBlueLine. Although the original trilogy gradually darkened during Busted, the new remake series will display a blue and red overlay, similar to a police siren, indicating that the player has been arrested. Popular hacker and investigator Vadim M claimed that this was a stock image that was widely used by the news media, reporting police material, and fans were once again dissatisfied with its developers.

After the release was strongly opposed, Rockstar admitted that the GTA trilogy failed to meet expectations in terms of quality, and announced plans to resolve remaining issues and make improvements. Although nothing has been confirmed, stock images may be deleted in one of the upcoming repairs. Despite the promise to fix the title, due to its numerous technical issues and inconsistencies, players quickly flocked to Rockstar's support site to request refunds. Some consumers have encountered unresolved delays or refused inquiries, and have responded to the review bombing series.

The final version of "Grand Theft Auto: Trilogy" is considered a new low for Rockstar Games, and it is not clear when this game will meet the standards players expected when it was released. Although patches and bug fixes have begun to roll out, there are countless issues with the game, which may make Rockstar and Grove Street Games a long-term project. Many players are now abandoning any future projects of the company, which shows that Rockstar has a way to appease fans. In the recent live broadcast of The Game Awards, the rumors announced by Rockstar were scorned by players who believed that even GTA 6 could not help restore confidence in the team. At this stage, it is not clear whether the GTA trilogy will reach its full potential.
