The iPhone 14 series may have four different models, with two Pro options

A market analyst said that the iPhone 14 Pro model will be equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which will be equipped with an upgraded 48-megapixel wide-angle camera and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras each. The Pro model in the lineup is also speculated to have 8GB of RAM. The iPhone 14 lineup is expected to have four new models, including the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max as two high-end models, and the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max as two relatively affordable options.

According to MacRumors, analyst Jeff Pu predicted the camera settings and RAM details of the iPhone 14 Pro model in a Haitong International Securities research report. Analysts said that the two Pro models in the lineup will be equipped with 48-megapixel wide-angle cameras and 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras. This is an upgrade to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, because both are equipped with a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera on the back, as well as ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras with the same megapixels.

Pu's guess is consistent with what TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo mentioned, who earlier hinted that the 48-megapixel camera on the iPhone 14 Pro model will be equipped with 8K video recording.

Pu also mentioned that the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be equipped with 8GB of RAM. According to its benchmark list, this also appears to be an upgrade to the iPhone 13 Pro model with 6GB of RAM.

Except for the Pro model, Pu hinted that all new iPhone 14 models will be equipped with a 120Hz display as standard. This is in sharp contrast to the recent recommendations of display industry analyst Ross Young, who stated that standard models in the lineup will continue to use 60Hz displays.

Pu also said that the standard iPhone 14 model will have 64GB of storage space. This is different from the iPhone 13 model based on 128GB of storage.

So far, Pu has a mixed record in predicting the next generation of Apple devices. He correctly speculated that there are mini-LED displays on this year's 16-inch MacBook Pro and iPad Pro models. However, he also hinted that Apple would launch a new HomePod model with a 3D sensor camera in 2019, but this did not happen. Although some patents also indicate this development-but did not specify any clear timetable.

That said, it is always recommended to use a pinch of salt to get unofficial details.
