As the EQE SUV tested by spy photographers in cold weather in Scandinavia was photographed, Mercedes' electric cars continued to be promoted.

The model will be installed under the upcoming EQS SUV, and its aerodynamic design will follow the footsteps of EQE and EQS. Although the camouflage hides many details, we can see that the crossover will be equipped with a curvaceous front end and a fully enclosed grille, with considerable headlights on both sides.

Continuing down the side, we can see the streamlined body and the stylish windshield flowing into the sloping roof. The model also has a waistline that sweeps upwards and an embedded door handle.

Finally, there is an upright rear end with a spoiler mounted on the liftgate and wrap-around taillights. They are connected by an angled rear window and the position of a Mercedes three-pointed star.

Spy photographers did not get close enough to take pictures of the interior, but the cabin may echo EQE. Therefore, we can look forward to the three-spoke steering wheel, floating center console and the available MBUX Hyperscreen. The latter includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch front passenger display.

The crossover will use the EVA2 architecture and may share the power system with EQE. Mercedes has not announced the full details of the latter, but has confirmed that the model will be equipped with a 90.6 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and provide rear-wheel and all-wheel drive.

The car's output power ranges from 288 hp (215 kW / 292 PS) to over 671 hp (500 kW / 680 PS), and we can expect the EQE SUV to have the same output. Of course, the size of the crossover may mean that it cannot match the EQE's 410-mile (660-kilometer) range in the WLTP cycle.
