STRØM has launched the City M 2.0 and City W e-bikes. The Strom City M 2.0 is the successor to the City e-bike that the company crowdfunded several years ago, with a seven-speed gear system. In comparison, the City W has a step-through frame and a three-speed gear system.

Both bikes have an LED display to show stats about your ride and a built-in system that allows you to charge your phone via USB. You can choose from two silent motor; a European road legal version provides pedal assist up to 25 kph (~16 mph), with 250 W power and 45 Nm of torque.

Alternatively, customers in the US can opt for the larger 400 W motor with a top assistance speed of 32 kph (~20 mph). A 10.4 Ah battery provides up to 50 km (~31 miles) of range.

An optional upgrade gives you a 14 Ah power pack to extend your range up to 80 km (~ 50 miles). The typical charging time is five hours, but this can be halved with the Strom Super Charger.

You can now pre-order the STRØM City M 2.0 and City W via Indiegogo from €1,175 (~US$1,258). After this pre-sale period, the prices are expected to rise to €2,000 (~US$2,142). Both vehicles are available in black and white and deliveries are scheduled to commence in August 2022.
