A new trailer for Among Us VR reveals how the gameplay will be different from the PC, console, and mobile versions of the game.

Among Us is one of the most popular video games in the world. While Innersloth, the developer of the game, released it back in 2018, it didn't gain the huge fanbase it has now until 2020. The game is available on PC, modern gaming consoles, and mobile devices, and a VR version will release this holiday season.

A trailer for Among Us VR came out earlier today, showing fans what the gameplay will be like. While it follows the same formula as the original Among Us, there are quite a few differences that were made to create a unique virtual reality experience.

At the beginning of the Among Us VR trailer, a group of Crewmates ran around the Cafeteria section of The Skeld map, the first and most popular map in the original Among Us. The Crewmates then gathered around the Emergency Meeting button in the center of the room and pointed fingers at each other, accusing one another of being an Impostor. The majority of the Crewmates believed that the Impostor was Yellow and voted them out of the game.

More rooms were shown throughout the Among Us VR trailer as Crewmates passed each other while also trying to maintain a distance between each other in case those around them turned out to be Impostors. The trailer went on to show the perspective of multiple Crewmates throughout the match.

At the end of the trailer, more areas that players will be able to go to in Among Us VR were quickly shown before Blue walked over to the Emergency Meeting button and pressed it. Among Us VR's logo then appeared with text reading "Wishlist on the Meta Store!" appearing at the bottom of the screen. It has also been revealed that Among Us VR will allow between 4 and 10 players to be in a match together, while the original game could be played with 15 people.

Among Us fans may have to wait a while to experience this new version of the game as it is only April, but the PC, console, and mobile versions still offer players a lot with updates that have added more content, such as other maps to play on and skins to wear. Most recently, Among Us has collaborated with Scream, Halo, and Ratchet and Clank to add skins of Ghostface, Master Chief, and Ratchet, as well as Clank and Guilty Spark pets.

Among Us is available now for Android and iOS mobile devices, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
