NJ Turnpike Crash, Overturned Tractor Trailer: Patch AM Traffic Digest | Holmdel, NJ Patch

Good morning, New Jersey Patch readers! Here are the latest traffic updates that will impact your travel on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

As of 7 a.m., there's a crash on US 1&9 Truck Route northbound Jacobus Avenue in Kearny. 1 left lane closed.

As of 6 a.m., there's a crash on Pulaski Skyway southbound Broadway in Jersey City. 1 left lane closed.

As of 3:39 a.m., there's a water main break on NJ 28 eastbound west of CR 615/Springfield Avenue in Cranford. 1 right lane closed.

As of 7:02 a.m., there's debris on the Garden State Parkway northbound Exit 100B - NJ 66 East in Tinton Falls. 1 center lane.

As of 5:42 a.m., there's a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway southbound north of Interchange 9 - NJ 18 in New Brunswick. Left lane blocked.

As of 4:51 a.m., there's an overturned tractor trailer on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway southbound south of Interchange 12 - Carteret-Rahway in Woodbridge. Left shoulder blocked.

As of 7:24 a.m., there's a crash on NJ 42 northbound at Exit 10A - NJ 168/Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township. 1 left lane closed, 25-30 minute delay.

As of 4:15 a.m., there's construction on NJ 70 in both directions between Cropwell Road in Evesham and CR 673/Springdale Road in Cherry Hill. All lanes shift until July 15.

North Jersey Coast Line and Northeast Corridor NJ Transit lines are under temporary schedule adjustments through May 30 to accommodate major repair work to the Laurel Avenue Bridge in Holmdel. See here for updated timetables.

Northeast Corridor trains resumed regular boarding at Metropark and Metuchen following earlier Amtrak overhead wire issues.

All other NJ Transit train lines are running on or close to schedule.

Expect a high of 68 and a slight chance of showers, the National Weather Service said.
