These are your favorite car ads

We ask, you answer. Here are the ten best, most influential, or most memorable car advertisements you have ever seen. Some of them, to be honest, I wish I could raise this question. Let us look at them.

Ironically, in both cases, the coolest car in the ad was not any of the models they were trying to sell.

As a designated unbearable movie buddy, I have a legal obligation to include this movie on the list. Many of Bay’s style signatures are here: enhanced colors, orange lighting, fast-paced editing. Every lens is full of motion, with as many parallax layers as possible. Tell me what you think of him as a filmmaker, but this guy knows how to make commercials.

Back in the quiet mid-term, Volkswagen's advertising campaign is really crazy. You can determine the carbon date for this event for his co-star Helga from the (now archived) MySpace page.

Fun fact: I learned to drive a stick in this GTI era. One was sold on eBay. In retrospect, it was a very rough transaction, and I didn't buy it in the end. Anyway, the seller let me learn.

My grandfather is a farmer, and I often ride a bike with him. He almost never thought of Paul Harvey. I remember seeing this ad and feeling it all. I don’t think I have ever had an advertisement that can cause such a strong emotional response. Although Grandpa does like GM trucks.

Even if I am not a farmer, I am driving a ram now. I can't say that this advertisement did not influence that decision at least on a subconscious level.

The farmer ad is very simple: a still image, flashed by, with Paul Harvey’s God giving a farmer’s speech. However, this simplicity is powerful here. This is not the last time we have seen Ram on this list, but it is the most sad advertisement.

If you disagree with my point of view, we can still be friends, but I will seriously question your judgment.

What makes it one of the best car advertisements ever is the unforgettable use of real people, who are obviously not real car people, talking about Camry like the next Enzo.

"Be grounded" and change the world.

PrinceGnarls may be the heir to Barkley's fortune. He used Toyota's infamous Grounded To The Ground ad to put forward a good point: unforgettable. Of course, we will make fun of it, but we never forget it. This is very important in advertising.

According to reports, Nissan spent $200 million on this activity, but Mattel sued for copyright infringement. Although I can't seem to find any information to confirm whether the toy commercial is a stop-motion animation or computer-generated, I can confirm that the cover of Van Halen's "You Really Know Me" is still very good.

Speaking of litigation, The Cog must be one of the most famous car advertisements in history. Although the artists filed a lawsuit alleging that Honda's advertising agency (Weiden+Kennedy, which will be detailed later) plagiarized their work, the advertisement is still widely regarded as one of the greatest car advertisements of all time.

British Ford Ka advertisement in the late 1990s. "This is kitten, kitten!!"

I repeatedly considered whether it should be included. Judging from the response it has received, it cannot be the best advertisement ever-usually, when your own agency (Hello Weiden+Kennedy) denies this work and claims that it should not be published, you don’t Not exactly the best product in history.

However, this advertisement persisted. The reaction to the campaign (the pigeon and another advertisement, which I don’t think should be linked here) was so negative that it became a case study of brand associations in advertising. This ad is an actual case study that I have seen in the Marketing Institute. To this day, it is still there, wandering around.

Twister, 1996. The best 2-hour Dodge ad ever.

I told you that we will see more Ram trucks on this list. Twister may not meet the traditional standards of "advertisement", but it is definitely Ram's advertisement. One is effective because I still think that the Ram of that era is one of the best looking trucks in history.

Also, as a reminder, this movie has Alan Luck and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I think I should revisit it.

BOB SEGER and Chevrolet trucks

This is a car advertisement equivalent to Bill Pullman's speech on Independence Day. If the Ram's Farmer ad above was not cited as a source of inspiration, I would be shocked. You really won't receive such a truck advertisement, all trucks nowadays are very expensive alternatives to luxury cars. it's a pity.

This Karmann Ghia ad is probably the best video shot in the DDB print ad, although "How does a snowplow driver work" is also a good ad.

This is really a self-deprecating mass ad that perfectly transforms into a video. This kind of visual gimmick won't really work in print ads, but it works perfectly here.
